Sound Studio

The Learning Centre's projects often require audio recording in one form or another. Voiceovers, foreign language or music recordings all require a suitable environment to create that professional finish and so The Learning Centre has invested in a fully digital recording studio.

The studio boasts a 3m square acoustic sound booth and professional sound recording equipment and software. The sound studio is also ideal for creating podcasts as local company Scotsys found out when they created their April 2006 podcast here.

In 2005 The Learning Centre recorded a series of modern language CDs for use in all of North Lanarkshire’s primary schools. The project was commissioned by NLC’s Quality Developmental Services and covers the French, Spanish, German and Italian curriculum.

Below you will find examples of projects that have used the studio to great effect.
