Holy Buildings
Would you like to take a group on a visit a church, synagogue or a mosque but don't have the time or resources?
Well now you can without leaving the comfort of your own computer. Our Holy Buildings project commissioned by North Lanarkshire Council visits a synagogue, a mosque and both protestant and catholic churches. You can take a virtual tour of each building looking around an interactive panoramic view of the interior. Hot spots on important religious artefacts in the panorama link to short videos explaining the use and importance of each item.
This project will support the the study of religious education in every primary and secondary school in North Lanarkshire. The tours are available as a CD-Rom with high resolution video or online with compressed video suitable for streaming across the Internet.
