Academy of Sound
The Learning Centre held a unique Talent Show only to be inundated with hopeful entries. With a wealth of musical talent that could satisfy any judge from the X-Factor this competition was an outlet for the range of musical talent in the school. The acts that made it all the way to the final competition received the opportunity of performing in the professional environment of The Learning Centre's recording studio.
The result of these sessions is The Academy of Sound CD featuring six tracks of outstanding musical talent.
Using state of the art equipment in The Learning Centre was a unique experience for the winners and a chance for them to learn about music production in a real world situation.
Working with a professional Sound Engineer to produce the tracks on the CD was a fantastic opportunity, which the pupils enjoyed immensely, something that is evident when you hear the final product.
