New and innovative learning products and resources.

A range of new and exciting learning products will all start to become available for use in North Lanarkshire schools over the next year including e-assessment tools, online learning tutorials, video sequencing materials and new audio editing software and learning content. Rollout strategies are being developed and implemented for each of the new products, as well as strategies for the creation of further learning content to run on these new tools.

The Learning Centre is developing new online materials to help develop the role of Photoshop Elements in the classroom with practical exercises, assets ready to download and online training videos.


Learnskape eLearning Software

This initiative has produced e-learning software that has a practical application in the context of lifelong learning. It is available for use via the Internet or an intranet.

This Guideline has been developed by The Learning Centre to help teachers who are working with the Scottish 5-14 Curriculum. It is designed as a mapping document that helps users gain an overview of the structure.

Educational Websites Database

The Learning Centre, Bellshill was commissioned by the Scottish Executive Education Department to produce an Internet-based resource focused on learners, teachers and parents in Scotland.
