
The Learning Centre is a multimedia-learning environment that utilises the latest software and hardware. The Learning Centre works across platforms using both Apple Mac and Windows PC operating systems.
The Centre has two Training suites. The Skye suite is PC based with 31 Pentium IV machines using Windows XP operating system. The suite is equipped with sound systems, an LCD Projector and an Interactive Whiteboard.

The Jura suite has recently been upgraded and now boasts 31 G5 iMacs allowing staff and pupils to use the very latest software with ease. This suite is also equipped with sound systems, an LCD Projector and an Interactive Whiteboard.

The Sound Studio, which has been relocated and upgraded with an acoustic booth, runs a Pro Tools suite with professional level recording equipment and instruments.
A
technical base provides support and access to additional resources such
as laptops, LCD projectors, digital still cameras and video cameras.
The Digital Arts studios use G5 Macs and
Pentium 4 PC's using software from recognised software manufacturers
such as Adobe, Apple and Microsoft, to produce video packages,
interactive media, websites and print work. Also available in the
Digital Arts studios are a wide range of professional creative
equipment such as Canon XL1 & XL2 Video cameras, scanners, video
& audio mixers, graphics tablets and much more.
